
Taylor and Kennedy Easterling of Canton, Georgia have been competing with The Stingray Allstars of Marietta, Georgia competition cheerleading teams since elementary school. Their teams have competed and placed in the Summit Championships throughout the years. However, what makes 2022 so special is that in February, these sisters won two National Championship titles back-to-back.

They won the first championship at the Cheersport Nationals, one of the most prestigious all-star events in the country, in Atlanta, Georgia Feb. 19-20. The following weekend they traveled to Dallas, Texas for the National Cheerleaders Association, National Championship event. The NCA event hosted over 26,000 athletes and cheer teams from 42 states and four countries. It’s been three years since they won and brought home jackets in the same weekend from the Cheersport Nationals and Spirit of Hope competition.

Stingray Allstars National Titles
Kennedy, who competes on the Chrome Rays, secured an at-large bid to the Summit Championship after her team won Cheersport 2022 in Atlanta. Her cheer career at Stingrays includes three Cheersport National Titles, one UCA International Title, two Allstar Challenge Battle National Titles, two Spirit of Hope National Titles, one NCA National Title and 4th and 5th place at The Summit in Orlando, Florida.

In addition, Kennedy’s sister, Taylor, who competes on the UV Rays, secured a paid bid after their win at Jamfest Nationals held in Indianapolis, Indiana in January. Her cheer career at Stingrays includes three Cheersport National Titles, one UCA International Title, two Allstar Challenge Battle National Titles, one World Spirit Federation National Title, one Jamfest National Title, one American Championship National Title, two Spirit of Hope National Titles, one NCA National Title and 1st and 2nd Place at The Summit in Orlando, Florida.

The Stingray Allstars also brought home 12 Cheersport National Championships and seven NCA National Championships. The Stingray Allstars offer competitive cheerleading in Marietta, Johns Creek and Cartersville, Georgia, Tampa, Florida, Richmond, Kentucky, West Chester, Ohio, Sussex, Wisconsin, Ashburn and Manassas Virginia.
End of Season Competition
The Varsity All-Star competitive cheerleading teams across the globe will be competing at the Summit End of Season Championship in Orlando, Florida, April 28 through May 1. Teams that competed during the regular season are eligible to secure bids based on performances at qualifying competitions during the season.

Varsity All-Star Championship
The Summit Championship, held at Walt Disney World® Resort’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex April 28 – May 1, 2022, is the season-capping goal for many competitive all-star teams. Founded by Varsity All-Star in 2013, the Summit Championship will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2022 and will showcase more than 1,500 teams and 24,000 competitors from around the globe. The championship provides a unique experience for athletes to compete against the best of the best across all levels of competition. The Summit Championship and The Dance Summit Championship continue to grow offering multiple paths for teams to have a competitive, prestigious, and celebratory end to their seasons.
